More than one FAFSA form may be available at the same time. Choose the award year that matches when you plan to attend RACE, and complete the form only on StudentAid.gov. If you are unsure which year to select, pause and ask Therese before you begin.

A FAFSA award year runs from July 1 through June 30. Select the form that includes the date you expect to begin your eligible RACE program. If more than one form is available, do not guess—confirm the correct award year before continuing.
• Each FAFSA form is labeled with two years, such as 2026–27.
• The award year runs from July 1 of the first year through June 30 of the second.
• Choose the year that includes your expected RACE start date.
• If you attend during a later award year, you may need to submit a new FAFSA form for that year.
• Confirm your expected RACE start date.
• Choose the FAFSA year that includes that date.
• Sign in with your own StudentAid.gov account.
• If you are unsure, stop and ask Therese before entering personal or financial information.
Federal student aid may be available to students who qualify in RACE’s Cosmetology, Hair Design, and Master Esthetics programs. Nail Technology and Lash & Brow Technology are not eligible for federal student aid at RACE.
Complete the FAFSA only on StudentAid.gov. RACE will never ask you to share your username, password, security codes, Social Security number, tax information, or FAFSA answers.
Therese can help you identify the correct award year without accessing your account.
